How to Use the Story Bank in Marketing Magic
The Story Bank feature inside Marketing Magic is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to bring more personality, depth, and connection into your marketing content.
If you’ve ever struggled with:
What stories to share
How much is “too personal”
Turning your experiences into content
This feature is designed to make that process feel easy, structured, and actually enjoyable.
What Is the Story Bank?
The Story Bank is a space inside your brand dashboard where you can:
Capture personal and professional stories
Use guided prompts to reflect on your experiences
Turn those stories into marketing content automatically
Rather than trying to “come up with content ideas,” you’re drawing from real experiences — which makes your marketing feel more:
Authentic
Relatable
Memorable
And importantly, these stories don’t just sit there - they can be turned into emails, social posts, and video scripts in a couple of clicks.
Where to Find the Story Bank
You’ll find the Story Bank inside your Brand Dashboard. Once you open it, you’ll see two key sections:
1. Your Saved Stories
At the top, you’ll see any stories you’ve already created.
You can:
Open them
Edit them
Use them to generate content
2. Story Prompts
Below that, you’ll find a library of prompts to help you reflect on:
Your journey
Client experiences
Lessons learned
Key moments in your business
These prompts are designed to help you share meaningful stories without feeling like you’re oversharing or going off track.
How the Weekly Story Prompt Works
Each week, Marketing Magic gives you a new story prompt directly in your dashboard.
When you:
Answer the prompt
Save your response
It gets added to your Story Bank. The following week, the prompt resets - giving you a simple, ongoing way to build a library of stories over time. This means you don’t have to sit down and “figure it all out” in one go. You can build your storytelling naturally, week by week.
How to Add and Edit a Story
To create or update a story:
Click into a story prompt
Write your response
Click “Save My Answer”
You can come back and edit your story at any time - it’s a flexible space, not a final draft.
Turning Stories Into Content
Once you’ve added a story, you’ll see three options:
Create Social Content
Create Email
Create Video Script
These allow you to instantly turn one story into multiple content formats.
Creating an Email from a Story
When you click “Create Email”, Marketing Magic will generate:
An opening
A main body
A closing
The email is structured around your story, making it feel natural and engaging — not overly “salesy.”
Once created, you’ll see an email icon appear on that story, indicating content has been generated.
Creating Social Content from a Story
The social content feature gives you multiple ways to use one story:
Carousel post – broken down into slides
Image caption – for a single photo or graphic
Story sequences – for Instagram or Facebook stories
Conversation starters – to drive engagement
This makes it easy to adapt one idea across different formats without starting from scratch each time.
Creating a Video Script
You can also turn your story into a video script, which is perfect for:
Reels
TikTok
Short-form video content
This helps you move from “idea” to “recorded content” much faster, with a clear structure to follow.
Where Your Content Is Stored
All content created from your Story Bank is also saved in your content library inside Marketing Magic.
This means you can:
Come back to it later
Edit or reuse it
Repurpose it across different platforms
