Prerequisites

Related Tutorials

The Funnels tool helps you build a structured path that guides potential customers through your business.

A typical funnel might include:

  • A lead magnet to attract new subscribers

  • A core offer (your main product)

  • A checkout bump (a small add-on purchase)

  • An upsell (a higher-value additional offer)

Marketing Magic connects all of these pieces and generates the strategy, messaging, and marketing assets needed to support the funnel.

Creating a New Funnel

To get started, open the Funnels section and click Add New Funnel.

First, select the brand profile you want the funnel connected to.

Next, choose the type of funnel you want to create. Marketing Magic provides several starting templates depending on the type of campaign you're running.

For example:

  • Evergreen funnels

  • Webinar funnels

  • Product launch funnels

For this example, we’ll create an Evergreen Funnel.

Naming Your Funnel

Give your funnel a clear name so you can easily identify it later.

For example:

SEO Program Evergreen Funnel

This is simply for your internal organisation.

Selecting the Lead Magnet

Next, choose the lead magnet that will attract people into the funnel.

This dropdown will show the lead magnets you’ve already added to your account. If you haven’t created one yet, you’ll need to add it first.

The lead magnet acts as the entry point into the funnel.

Choosing Your Core Offer

The core offer is the main product you want to sell through this funnel.

Select the relevant product from your list.

This is usually your primary course, service, or program.

Adding a Bump Offer

A bump offer is a smaller product that customers can add to their purchase during checkout.

If you already have a bump product set up, you can select it from the dropdown.

If you don’t have one yet, Marketing Magic can help you generate ideas.

For example, you could open the Product Chat and ask for:

  • Ideas for a checkout bump

  • Suggestions for upsell products

You might ask something like:

Give me five ideas for a checkout bump and five ideas for an upsell for this program.

Once you have an idea you like, you can quickly add it as a new product.

Adding an Upsell

An upsell is a higher-value offer shown after someone purchases the main product.

Examples might include:

  • A strategy session

  • Additional coaching

  • A premium version of the program

  • Done-for-you resources

If you don’t already have an upsell product created, you can add one in the Products section, then return to the funnel setup and select it from the dropdown.

Adding Bonuses or Time-Based Offers

If your funnel includes limited-time bonuses or special pricing, you can add notes about that in the funnel setup.

For example:

  • Fast-action bonuses

  • Early access discounts

  • Limited-time pricing

These details help Marketing Magic incorporate urgency and scarcity into the funnel messaging.

Creating the Funnel

Once all the elements are selected, click Create Your Funnel.

Marketing Magic will begin generating the funnel structure and supporting strategy in the background. After a short moment, you’ll see the View Funnel button appear.

Funnel Strategy Overview

Inside the funnel editor, the first tab shows the Funnel Strategy.

This includes a strategic overview of the funnel, such as:

  • The core promise of the offer

  • The main idea behind the funnel

  • Common customer objections

  • Urgency and scarcity elements

This helps ensure that the funnel messaging remains consistent across all assets.

Audience and Positioning

The funnel strategy also includes insights about the ideal buyer for your core offer, including:

  • Pain points

  • Desired transformation

  • Fears or hesitations

  • The before-and-after mindset shift

This information helps shape the messaging used throughout the funnel.

Messaging Direction

Marketing Magic will also generate messaging guidance, including:

  • The main marketing message

  • Supporting messages

  • Emotional drivers behind the purchase decision

  • Key belief shifts your marketing should encourage

These insights provide a strategic framework for all the funnel content.

Automation and Segmentation Ideas

One of the most useful sections of the funnel strategy is the automation and segmentation logic.

Here you’ll see suggestions for:

  • Audience tagging

  • Segmentation rules

  • Automation flows

These ideas help you structure your email marketing system so that subscribers are tagged and nurtured appropriately as they move through the funnel.

Generating Funnel Assets

Once you're happy with the strategy, click Create Funnel Assets.

Marketing Magic will generate a full set of marketing resources for your funnel.

These may include:

Landing Pages

  • Lead magnet opt-in page

  • Thank you page

  • Lead magnet delivery page

  • Evergreen sales page

Checkout Pages

You’ll also receive copy for:

  • The main checkout page

  • The checkout bump offer

  • The upsell sales page

Each page is tailored to the specific products in your funnel.

Email Sequences

Your funnel will also include suggested email sequences to support the funnel flow.

These may include:

  • Lead magnet delivery emails

  • Nurture emails

  • Sales emails for the core offer

Social Media Promotion

Marketing Magic generates social media content ideas that help attract people into the funnel organically.

These ideas typically focus on topics related to the lead magnet and core offer.

Additional Marketing Ideas

You may also see suggestions for additional visibility strategies, such as:

  • Podcast interview angles

  • Collaboration opportunities

  • Partnership promotion ideas

These are designed to help you drive traffic to your funnel from outside your existing audience.

Editing and Regenerating Content

All generated content can be edited directly inside the editor.

You can:

  • Adjust the messaging

  • Regenerate sections for new ideas

  • Copy the content into your own marketing tools

The goal is to give you a strong starting point that you can quickly refine.

Why Funnels Are Useful

Funnels help create a structured customer journey, guiding people from initial discovery to becoming a paying customer.

Instead of relying on random marketing activity, you have a system that:

  • Attracts new leads

  • Builds trust

  • Presents relevant offers

  • Increases average order value through bumps and upsells

Marketing Magic helps you create this structure without needing to plan every piece manually.
