Using the Chat Feature
The Chat feature in Marketing Magic is the flexible workspace where you can generate ideas, refine content, and build marketing assets through conversation.
If you previously used freestyle tools in Version 1, the Chat feature replaces those tools and gives you a much more dynamic way to create content and strategy inside the platform.
In this guide, we’ll walk through where to find the chat, how it works, and a few practical ways to use it.

Where to Find the Chat Tool
You can access Chat from the chat icon in the left-hand menu.
When you open this section, you’ll see a list of all chats you’ve started.
Each chat is labelled so you can easily identify what it relates to. For example:
Brand-level chats are labelled with your brand name
Product chats include the name of the product
Lead magnet chats include the lead magnet name
Funnel chats include the funnel name
This makes it easy to return to previous conversations and continue working on them later.
Starting a New Chat
You can start a chat from several places inside Marketing Magic:
The main Chat tab
Inside a Brand profile
Inside a Product
Inside a Lead Magnet
Inside a Funnel
When you start a chat from one of these areas, Marketing Magic already understands the context of what you're working on, which allows it to generate more relevant responses.
For example:
A product chat knows what the product is
A lead magnet chat understands the resource you're creating
A funnel chat understands the offers in that funnel
Using Chat to Build Content
One of the most common uses of chat is to expand ideas into actual content.
For example, if you’re creating a lead magnet and have an outline of the sections, you could ask chat to generate the content for those sections.
You might start with something like:
Create the content for these sections of my checklist.
Marketing Magic will then generate draft content for each section, which you can edit and refine before finalising.
This makes it much easier to move from outline → draft content.
Continuing Conversations
Chat works best when you treat it like a conversation rather than a one-off prompt.
For example, you might:
Ask for a content outline
Ask for the first section to be expanded
Request edits or improvements
Ask for additional sections
Each message builds on the previous one, helping you develop the content step by step.
Using Chat for Social Content
Chat is also extremely useful for turning content ideas into finished posts.
For example, you might start with two simple ideas and ask for:
Story posts
Carousel posts
Short video scripts
Once the initial content is generated, you can refine it further.
For example, you might ask for:
A more detailed script
Alternative hooks
A more educational carousel version
Each prompt helps you improve or adapt the content until it’s ready to use.
Improving Existing Content
You can also paste existing content ideas into chat and ask it to enhance them.
For example, if you have story post ideas inside a product’s social content section, you could copy those ideas into chat and ask for:
Higher quality, more educational versions of these story arcs.
Marketing Magic will then expand those ideas into more detailed content.
This is a quick way to transform simple ideas into fully developed posts.
Product-Specific Chats
When you start a chat from within a product, Marketing Magic understands the product’s context.
This allows you to ask questions like:
“Give me launch ideas for this product.”
“Create social posts to promote this program.”
“Write an email for people who just bought this product.”
Because the product information is already available to the system, the results are much more relevant than starting from scratch.
Funnel-Specific Chats
Similarly, chats started inside funnels take into account the full funnel structure, including:
Lead magnet
Core product
Checkout bump
Upsell
This makes it easier to generate funnel-specific content such as:
sales emails
launch ideas
automation messaging
Returning to Previous Chats
Every chat you start is saved automatically.
After a few messages, Marketing Magic will also generate a short summary title for the conversation. This makes it easier to find previous chats when you want to revisit them.
You can open any saved conversation and continue working from where you left off.
