Demo: From Idea to Social Content Using Chat

Back to the Knowledge Base

One of the easiest ways to create content quickly in Marketing Magic is by combining content ideas with the Chat tool.

Instead of stopping at a list of ideas, you can take a topic and turn it into fully written social posts, story sequences, carousels, or video scripts within a few prompts.

This walkthrough shows how to go from a simple content idea to a finished social media asset using the chat feature.

Step 1: Start With Content Ideas

You might begin with a content plan or idea list, such as a 30-day social media plan.

These plans typically include a variety of post ideas designed to educate, engage, or promote your work. Once you have the ideas, you can choose one or two topics you’d like to turn into actual content.

For example, you might pick two topics from your plan and use them as the starting point for a batch of posts.

Step 2: Open the Chat Tool

Next, go to the Chat section in Marketing Magic.

Start a new chat for your brand, then enter a prompt that tells the system what type of content you want to create.

For example, you might ask for:

  • Story sequences

  • Carousel post copy

  • Short video scripts

for each topic.

A prompt might look something like this:

I want to create interactive social media posts for these two topics. Create story posts, carousel posts, and a short video script for each.

Once you send the prompt, Marketing Magic will generate the content.

Because it’s creating multiple formats for multiple ideas, it may take a few seconds to produce the full response.

Step 3: Review the Generated Content

When the response appears, you’ll typically see several pieces of content created from the original idea.

For example:

Story Sequence

A multi-frame story structure designed to guide viewers through a short narrative or educational moment.

This often includes:

  • An opening hook

  • A few key points

  • A closing prompt or call to action

Carousel Copy

Carousel posts usually include suggested text for each slide, helping you build a structured post that delivers value while encouraging engagement.

Short Video Script

You’ll also receive a basic script outline for a short video.

This might include:

  • A hook

  • The key teaching point

  • A quick call to action

These scripts are designed to be quick to record and easy to adapt to your own voice.

Step 4: Refine the Content With Follow-Up Prompts

One of the biggest advantages of the Chat tool is that you can refine or expand any part of the content.

For example, if you like the video idea but want a stronger script, you can simply ask for it.

You might say something like:

Give me a more detailed and engaging script for this short video.

Marketing Magic will then expand the original idea into a more complete script.

Step 5: Improve Specific Elements (Like Hooks)

If there’s a part of the content you’re not happy with — such as the opening hook — you can ask for alternatives.

For example:

Give me eight more hook ideas for this video.

The system will generate new options that build on the original content but avoid repeating the same phrasing.

This allows you to quickly experiment with different angles before finalising your post.

Step 6: Copy and Use the Content

Once you're happy with the content, you can simply copy the text from the chat and use it in your social media scheduling tool, notes app, or content planner.

From a single idea, you might end up with:

  • A story sequence

  • A carousel post

  • A short video script

  • Multiple hook options

This makes it easy to turn one concept into several pieces of content.

Why This Workflow Is Useful

This approach helps you move quickly from idea → content → publishable post without getting stuck staring at a blank page.

You can:

  • Start with a content idea

  • Generate multiple formats

  • Refine the messaging

  • Create ready-to-use content in minutes

Over time, this makes it much easier to stay consistent with your content without spending hours writing posts.
