What’s New in Marketing Magic: May 2026

Back to the Knowledge Base

In this video, we’re walking through the main updates that have gone live in Marketing Magic for May 2026.

There have been some big changes this month, including a new notifications area, Claude integration, updated language model options, Voice DNA and Cognitive DNA, editable content pillars, and new referral tools.

You’ll find a summary of everything below, along with links to more detailed step-by-step tutorials where relevant.

Quick Links

The New “What’s New” Notifications Tab

Marketing Magic now has a dedicated What’s New area, so you can quickly see the main updates and improvements that have been added to the platform.

Inside this tab, you’ll find a summary of recent updates going back to around November 2025, including links to the relevant area inside Marketing Magic and links to the Knowledge Base tutorial once it’s available.

You can also click Mark All as Read to clear the notification badge.

The goal here is to keep you informed when something substantial changes, without adding more notification overwhelm. You don’t need to check it constantly, but it’s there when you want to see what’s new or catch up on recent improvements.

Claude Integration and Updated Model Options

Marketing Magic now includes Claude integration, giving you more choice over the language model you use in your account.

You can switch your preferred model from the dropdown inside your account area. This allows you to test different models and see which one gives you the best results for the type of content you’re creating.

The current model options include OpenAI models and Claude models.

For lifetime legacy account holders, you can also add your own API keys again. This includes adding and editing API keys for OpenAI and Anthropic.

If you are a lifetime user and want to use Claude, you’ll need to add your Anthropic API key first.

There is a separate tutorial linked below that walks through adding and editing API keys step by step.

Voice DNA and Cognitive DNA

One of the biggest updates this month is the addition of Voice DNA and Cognitive DNA inside your brand’s tone of voice settings.

This is a major upgrade to how Marketing Magic understands your brand, your communication style, and the way you explain ideas.

Your Voice DNA captures your core tone of voice and brand guidelines, helping Marketing Magic create content that sounds more like you.

Your Cognitive DNA goes a step further. It looks at how you think, teach, explain, reason, and communicate information, so your content reflects not just how you sound, but how you approach ideas.

This is especially useful if you are a course creator, educator, content creator, thought leader, or someone with a body of training, teaching, or long-form content.

Adding Tone of Voice Samples

Inside the Tone of Voice tab, you can now add different types of writing and content samples.

When adding a new sample, you’ll be able to select the type of content from a dropdown. For example, you might add:

  • Emails

  • Sales pages

  • Blog posts

  • Course transcripts

  • Workshop transcripts

  • Training content

You’ll need at least three samples of a content type to create asset-specific tone of voice guidelines.

For example, if you add three email samples, Marketing Magic can create email-specific tone of voice guidelines. If you add three sales pages, it can create sales-page-specific guidelines.

This means your content can be adapted more accurately depending on what you’re creating, rather than relying on one general tone of voice for everything.

Creating Your Voice DNA

Once you’ve added enough tone of voice samples, you’ll be prompted to create your Voice DNA.

This gives you a summary of your core brand voice and guidelines. You’ll be able to see a surface-level summary inside Marketing Magic, and you can also use that summary in other AI tools if you want to keep your voice consistent elsewhere.

Your Voice DNA then feeds into the content you create in Marketing Magic, helping your outputs sound more aligned with your actual writing style.

Creating Your Cognitive DNA

To create your Cognitive DNA, you’ll need to add five course, workshop, or training transcripts.

Once those have been processed, Marketing Magic can create a summary of your cognitive style, including things like:

  • Your teaching style

  • Your explanation style

  • Your reasoning style

  • How you structure information

  • How you help people understand ideas

This then feeds into the content you create, so Marketing Magic can better reflect the way you think, not just the words or phrases you tend to use.

For long-term users, this is a significant upgrade from the original tone of voice setup and makes your Marketing Magic account much more personalised.

Editable Content Pillars

You can now add and delete content pillars inside your brand’s content settings.

This is useful if your content strategy changes, if you stop selling a particular offer, or if you want to start creating content around a new topic.

You can now:

  • Add a new content pillar

  • Delete a content pillar you no longer need

  • Update your content strategy as your business changes

This gives you more control over the topics Marketing Magic uses when helping you create content.

There is a separate tutorial linked below that walks through adding and removing content pillars in more detail.

New Referral Tools

Marketing Magic also has an updated referral process for sharing live webinars and on-demand demos.

You can now share specific links to upcoming live workshops, live demos, and evergreen demo content. When someone signs up through your link, your referral code will be saved to their account. If they later purchase Marketing Magic, you’ll receive commission for that referral.

One of the most useful parts of this update is the ability to create referral promo assets inside Marketing Magic.

For each webinar or demo, you can generate promotional content that reflects your own audience and tone of voice.

The available promo assets include:

  • Short blurb

  • Who it’s for

  • Short email

  • Long email

  • Social posts

  • LinkedIn posts

  • Story arc

  • Video script

  • DM invite

  • FAQs and objections

  • Text suggestions for graphics

This should make it easier to share Marketing Magic with your audience in a way that still feels like you.

Live Webinars and On-Demand Demos

The upcoming live events currently run on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

There are six live webinars that run on a rotating cycle, so you can share your referral link without needing to keep changing it. If someone can’t attend the next available date, the page will update with the next session.

There are also on-demand demos available. These are evergreen, value-driven walkthroughs that help people solve specific marketing problems or bottlenecks. People can sign up and watch those straight away.

A new referral dashboard is also planned for May 2026, so you’ll be able to track webinar sign-ups, demo sign-ups, trial sign-ups, and purchases from one place.

What Else Is Changing This Month?

At the time of recording, these are the main visible updates for May 2026.

There may also be smaller behind-the-scenes improvements to tools and workflows, but those won’t necessarily change anything in the interface. They’re designed to improve the overall experience and quality of the platform rather than add new things you need to learn.

Getting Support

If you have any questions about these updates, or if something in your account doesn’t look quite right, you can send a message through support using the support icon inside Marketing Magic.

You can also use the tutorials linked below this video to get more detailed walkthroughs for specific features, including referrals, tone of voice, content pillars, API keys, and language models.

Next Steps

Start by checking the What’s New tab inside your account to see the latest updates.

Then, if you want to get the most out of the new features, it’s worth reviewing your tone of voice samples, creating your Voice DNA, adding transcripts for Cognitive DNA if relevant, and updating your content pillars so they reflect your current offers and content strategy.
